Commercial LAS contains three constituents in addition to LAS itself:
	Linear Alkylbenzene (LAB)
	Dialkyltetralin Sulfonate (DATS)
	Methyl-branched Alkylbenzene Sulfonate (isoLAS)

Linear alkylbenzene (LAB), the base material used to produce LAS, is derived exclusively from petroleum bi-products--benzene and paraffins derived from kerosene. LAB currently represents one-third of the active ingredients in detergents worldwide.
